Born April 18, 1921 at Missoula, Montana to Joseph and Margaret Romey Stang. Married Gladyse Loretta Petersen, August 1, 1975 at Delta, Utah.

Union Pacific Railroad 32 years. World War II. LDS Church. Loved outdoors.

Survived by sons, Thomas C. Stang, Ririe, Idaho; Joe Dee Stang, Wisconsin; daughters, Kerry Stang, Weiser, Wyoming; Susie Stang, Evanston, Wyoming; stepchildren, Mrs. Ned (Mattie) Sperry, Nephi; Raymond Taylor, Provo; Kenneth and Diane Taylor, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Dale (Deila) Bond, Delta; Nathan and Sherrie Taylor, Pleasant Grove; Alan and Tina Taylor, Las Vegas, Nevada; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Billings, Montana; Francis, Geargetown Lake, Montana; Edward, Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Josephine Scheeler, St. Ignatius, Montana; Helen Isaacs, and Charlotte Mariscal, both Billings, Montana. Preceded in death by son, Steven Stang, four Brotheres, two sisters.

Funeral services Monday, May 15, 1995, 11 a.m., Delta Stake Center. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center, Delta, Sunday 7-8 p.m. and Monday at church 10-10:45 a.m. Burial Delta Cemetery.
