Sephronia Lake Broderick 4/22/1928 ~ 8/9/2007
Sephronia Mae Lake Broderick, 80, passed away Aug. 9, 2007 in Delta. Born April 22, 1928 in Leamington, UT to Barnabus and Selma Vilate Johnson Lake. Raised in Lynndyl and attended school until the 8th grade. Married Alma LaVell Broderick on Sept. 18, 1943 in Ely, NV, after knowing him for 5 days. Marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple on Feb. 18, 1984. They live in many places around Washington State while her husband was in the Army. After being discharged Alma worked for Union Pacific Railroad and they moved from Utah to California many times. Finally settled in Utah, where their hearts were all along. Loved her family and friends that they had made. Mom loved the gospel and loved to do her church work and callings. Loves our Heavenly Father and our Redeemer Jesus Christ and stayed her course to be with them and her family once again. Survived by husband of 65 years, Alma; children, Steven (Carol) Broderick, Sarah (Bill) Lister, and Boyd (Clara) Broderick; and many grandchildren. Services: Tues. Aug. 14 at 11 a.m., Delta 1st Ward LDS Church. Friends call Tuesday morning at the church, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial Delta Cemetery under the direction of Nickle Mortuary.
