Obit for Henry Teichert:


Henry "Hank" Teichert, 89, of Livingston died Tuesday evening, May 28, 1996 at his home.

Mr. Teichert was born on October 31, 1906 in Big Run, Pennsylvania, the son of Carl and Lena Teichert. At an early age he moved with his family to Wyoming and then to park County where they homesteaded on Locke Creek. He attended Locke Creek School before going to work on neighboring ranches. Later, Mr. Teichert also worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad for a time. In the early 1950's, he began working as a cement finisher on construction projects in the Livingston area and around the state. He retired in 1971.

On November 9, 1939 he married Opal May Lawellin in Livingston. She died on March 15, 1985.

Mr. Teichert was a member of the Park County Pioneer Society. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and time spent teaching those skills to his grandsons. He like growing flowers and gardening.

Survivors include his daughter, Norma Boeh; two brothers, Walter and William Teichert of Belfry and two grandsons.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lena Teichert, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday June 1 at the Franzen David Bebee Chapel with Rev. Harlan Durgan of Livingston officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
