Bernice Aronson

Bernice Aronson, 90, a resident of Austin for the past 29 years, formerly of Mexico City, Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Ruth Mason; sisters Pauline Hartke and Ethel May Schierling; brother Ellis Mason and son Craig Aronson.

Survivors are her sister Charlotte Alexander; brother Larry Mason daughters Nancy Aronson and Katherine Ground; son-in-law Ted Ground; five grandchildren, Sarah Weaver, Hannah Herman and her husband Peter, Jack, Emily and Laura Ground and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was precious and was loved dearly by her family. She gave much of herself to help others, and even after traveling extensively all over the world, was able to bring her love home to those who mattered most. Her family will miss her deeply. She now rests with the Lord.

A memorial service will be held at Hill Country Church on March 1.
