Albert Chesemore, Richland Center resident, died in a hospital at Aberdeen, South Dakota, on Sunday from injuries received when his motorcycle hit some ruts in the highway throwing him with such force as to fracture his skull. Mr. Chesemore was rendered unconscious and died some two hours later. He and his brother Newton had gone to Dakota only a short time ago to help in the harvest.
Albert Chesemore was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler Chesemore, Richland Center residents. He was born in Rockbridge township February 17, 1910 and was 35 years, 5 months and 26 days of age at the time of his passing. He followed the occupation of farming.
Surviving him are his parents, two chidren Christian and David of Illinois; his brothers Charles, Madison; George, California; Newton, Richland Center, and his sisters, Mrs. Mary Beatty, La Valle; Mrs. Mattie Shuckhart and Mrs. Mamie Zierfuss, Richland Center.
The body was brought to the city and funeral services will be held from the Pratt Funeral Home Friday afternoon, burial to be made in the city cemetery.
