ETHEL WEST ADAMS, 84, of Auburndale died Thursday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A native of Houston County, Ala., she was a longtime area resident. She worked for Snively Groves and was a member of Howard's Grove Baptist Church in Cottonwood, Ala. She Is survived by three daughters, Mary Warren and Glenda Hackenburg, both of Auburndale, and Lunita Thomas of Winter Haven; two sons, Lamar West of Auburndale and George Max West of Lakeland; two sisters, Robbie Patrick of Tallahassee and Cindy Frith of Dothan, Ala.; a brother, Curtis H Smith of Dothan; five stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
