James E. (Red) Bushnell, 74, of Roanoke, entered into Eternal Rest, Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Virginia Veterans Care Center. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Agnes; daughters, Marsha and Cynthia; brother, Bill (Pappy) Bushnell; and sister Lorraine Lawson. His survivors include four children, Ernest Mark Bushnell and his wife, Cindy, Loretta Maxwell and her husband, Steve, Carol Andrews, and Joseph Kenneth (Joey) Bushnell and his wife, Margaret; sisters, Mildred Martin, Elizabeth Caldwell, Jean Manspile, and Carolyn Heath and her husband, Aubrey; sister-in-law, Virginia Bushnell; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside, Tuesday at noon, May 6, 2008 at the Forest Chapel Cemetery, Pastor Gregory Criswell to officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Oakey's East Chapel
