MRS. JAMES H. SACKETT DEAD

Former Clarksburg Lady Died Monday at Trinidad, Col.--Burial at 2 O'Clock Today

Mrs. Anna M. Davis Sackett, wife of James H. Sackett, formerly residents of Clarksburg, died Monday at the family home in Trinidad, Col., from bronchial pneumonia. Mrs. Sackett had traveled a great deal for the benefit of her health. She leaves, beside her husband, a son and three daughters, two of whom, with their father, accompanied the remains, which arrived in Fort Scott today and were taken to the Konantz mortuary. With Mr. Sackett were Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Schwinn and Mrs. Inez Parise, whose husband is at Camp Funston, and a granddaughter, Miss Ruby Wolcott.

The Sackett family were prominent in the Godfrey neighborhood during the coal boom in the 70's. Mr. Sackett was postmaster at Clarksburg about 25 years ago. Mrs. Sackett was 58 years, 3 months and 9 days of age. They moved to Colorado in 1893.

The funeral services were held from the home of Seigel Bunyan this afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. Y. Allen of the Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Sparks accompanied the funeral party.

Burial took place at 2 o'clock in the family plot at Clarksburg cemetery.
