Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Blaine Roland Collins, passed away on November 6, 2010 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Born December 31, 1943 in Birmingham, England to Roland Fredrick and Evelyn Hingley Collins.

Married Cherie Lynn Evans on April 23, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Blaine retired from Salt Lake City Fire Department.

He had a great love for motorcycling, snowmobiling, watching and playing sports and his pets. He loved to work with his hands and weld, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin in the mountains near Scofield. He also enjoyed his winters spent in Mesquite.

Survived by wife Cherie, three children Corey Collins, Carey Collins, and Mecell (Matt) Frankovich; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters Rosalie (Dale) Losser and Cindy (Jeff) Hansen and brother Glen (Arlene) Collins. Preceded in death by parents and brother Russell Collins.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper, Utah. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, Utah.
