The 1860 Linn County, Missouri census shows Henry and Mary with John R. 1 and Alzada 1/2 living in Township 60, Range 21, Linn County.
The 1900 census for Linn County shows Henry and Mary, ages 64, living with their son John R. in Linn County. So this would mean that Henry was still alive in 1900. It also shows John R and Fannie L. and their children Grover F. 11, Etta F. 9, Bernice 6, and Richard L. 1.
Was Henry buried in the Cherry Cemetery because some of the Kemper's who are buried there were related to America?

Henry had 6 children in all. Oldest John Robert that's listed 1858-1924, Alzada Coulson, born 1860 and died the same year. then James W. Coulson born 03 Jun 1865 died 29 Aug 1932 Long Beach CA, buried in Long Beach Municipal Cemetery, memorial # 66785039. The rest don't know where or when buried. Believe all born in Linn County MO.. Then Andrew Coulson 1866-?, Mary Bell as listed, Effie Coulson 1877-?, George Coulson 1879-?

It is possible that Henry and his wife had a daughter. Funeral home records indicate that Emerilla Alice Coulson Lower may have been their daughter. See the posting at Findagrave 122522392 in Rose Hill Cemetery for more information on Emerilla.
