Charlotte A. Grove, of Red Lion, entered into rest after a lengthy illness November 5, 2010, in York. She was the wife of Marcellus A. 'Boots' Grove, who entered into rest on July 16, 2002.

Born in Red Lion on April 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Jane (Snyder) Deitz.

She was a cigar maker working for various factories in the Red Lion area, then she worked for the former Warner's Dairy where she made ice cream and retired in 1975 from PennDot.

Charlotte was a very faithful lifetime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Red Lion.

She is survived by a daughter, Jolene M. Whitsel of Brogue and husband, Burl; two granddaughters, Lori A. Spoon of Dallastown and husband, Coye and Keri L. Keiser of Red Lion; two great-grandsons; one brother, Bill Dietz of Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist, retired United Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be offered to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 45 First Ave., Red Lion, PA 17356.
