MRS. MARY RICHARDS

Mrs. Mary Richards, 59, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. R. Finley, at Meservey, Iowa, near Mason City, on Thursday, November 15, after an illness of about ten weeks with asthma and dropsy and a complication of troubles.

She was taken ill in Chariton at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete West, where she had been employed, and seven weeks ago was removed to the home of her daughter where she had since been cared for.

Mary Noble, daughter of George and Ellen Noble, was born in English township, Lucas county, Iowa, on August 11, 1875, and had always lived in this vicinity.

She was married to Robert Richards, and to them two children were born, both of whom are living. They are Mrs. Alice Finley, of Meservey, and Charles, of Woodward. Besides her two children she is also survived by one grandchild, Patricia Finley, and by two sisters, Mrs. Belle Goodrich, of Des Moines, and Mrs. Robert Stout, of near Chariton.

Her parents and three brothers, Dr. Charles Noble, Andrew Noble and John Noble, preceded her in death.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W. A. Purdy, were held at the Church of Christ in Chariton on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, and burial took place in the Chariton cemetery.
