Mr. and Mrs. Bjorstad drove over to Portland last Thursday to take part in Mrs. Bjornstad's mother's funeral. Pastor Lien conducted the funeral for an unusually large gathering. The deceased's maiden name was Randi Evensdatter. She was born the 31st or December 1815 at Dalen in Rodness, Sundalen, Norway. In 1881 she immigrated to America and came to Blanchard the 6th of May the same year. She died the 25th of February 1904 at an age of 88 years, on month and 25 days. She was 91 years old. She leaves 6 children, 2 sons in Norway, one son and three daughters here in this country, namely Edward Dahl.
