Funeral services for Elizabeth Skillman, 86, formerly of 1514 W. Memorial, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary with Pastor Stan Peterson and Pastor Charles E. Burrey officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. Memorials may be directed to the Creekwood Baptist Church Steeple Fund.
Mrs. Skillman died Thursday in Woodland Nursing Home. She had been ill for several days. She was the widow of Thomas E. Skillman, who died in 1968. Mrs. Skillman was a member of Trinity Holy Lutheran Church and Creekwood Baptist Church. She was also a member of Naomi Rebekah Lodge 3 and a charter member of Muncie Ladies Encampment Auxiliary 30 and Muncie Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant 4.
Surviving are a son, Thomas E. Skillman Jr., of Muncie; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Rosaling) Marsis, Mrs. C.D. (Margaret) Hines and Mrs. Robert (Mary Martha) Calcord, all of Muncie, and Mrs. Grace Huffman of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Pat J. Herriott of Hawthorne, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
