Mrs. Gibbs was born in Kentucky, Sept. 7, 1866, and had lived in Glenarm for two years before returning to the city recently. Her husband, James, died 11 years ago. She was a member of the Pentecost church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at the Vancil funeral home and at 2 pm at the Full Gospel church.Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
Surviving are four sons, William and Thomas, both of city; Rev. John Gibbs, Peoria, Roy, Chicago; four daughters, Mrs. Cora Baggerly and Mrs. Ethel Bennett, both of city; Mrs. Bessie Pennington, Glenarm; Mrs. Margaret Elbert, Chicago; one sister Mrs. Joseph Dial, Lincoln; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
