NORTH JUDSON - Lonnie Campbell, 79, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010, in his home.
He was born February 7, 1931, in Checotah, OK, to the late McGoffin and Helma (Overson) Campbell.
On November 16, 1953 in Starke County, he married Alwease Hannah.
Mr. Campbell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from US Steel where he was a crane operator.
Survivors include daughters, Connie (Terry) Bailey, Vivian (Roy) Russell and Yvonne (Dennis) Russell; brothers, Lee Campbell and Eugene Campbell; and sister, Ruby Blankenship.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alwease, two sons: Roger and Boyd Campbell and one brother, Columbus Ray Campbell.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, in O'Donnell Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, North Judson.
