Jane Anne Abresch, 88, Kokomo, died at 2:22 a.m. Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born September 1, 1922, in Kokomo, the daughter of John Franklin and Eva (Colbert) Stitt, Sr.

On February 8, 1948 in Kokomo, she married Harry Junior Abresch at the Free Methodist Church, and he survives.

She had worked at SS Kresge in downtown Kokomo and assisted the war effort by working at Delco Radio during WWII.

Her first love was being a homemaker, who took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was a private person, who enjoyed nature by working in her garden.

She attended the Free Methodist Church in Kokomo.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Harry, are two sons, Robert G. Abresch and his wife Susie, William "Bill" J. Abresch and his wife Susie; two daughters, Sheryl A. Musgrave and her husband Gary, Esther L. Abresch-Cleaver and her husband Ernie, all of Kokomo; six grandchildren, Kathleen Farinas and her husband Michael, Amanda Jolliffe, Merine Chandler and her husband Dwight, William H. Pollard Jr., Brianna L. York and her husband David, Thomas J. Abresch; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Milton Abresch; four brothers, James, Paul, David, John Jr. Stitt; one sister, Esther Martin.

Private graveside services will be Friday, November 12, 2010, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Rebecca Sundquist officiating.
