Miss Hilliard Dies At Relatives Home
Aged Native Of Nash County Succumbs Early Today
Miss Elizabeth Hilliard, 8O, member of a prominent Nash county family, died at the home of her niece, Miss Bessie Hilliard of 526 Falls road, early today following a period of several years in which she had been in failing health.
Miss Hilliard was a native of Nash county being born at the Hilliard "Woodlawn." For the past 13 years she had been living at the home of her niece in this city. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford Hilliard of Nash county.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Falls road residence tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock. Burial will be in Nash county.
Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Henry Battle of near Red Oak, Miss Mary Hilliard, Miss Bessie Hillard of this city, and Miss Foy Hilliard of Washington, D. C. and three nephews, I. M. Hilliard of Miami, Fla., J. B. Hilliard of this city, and Sam Hilliard of Washington, D. C.
