GRAY, Mrs. Bessie, a resident of Tuskegee, AL died Thursday, October 21, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from Greater St. Mark Baptist Church, Tuskegee, AL with Rev. C. P. Noble, pastor, officiating, Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tuskegee Inst., AL. McKenzie's Funeral Home staff directing. She is survived by a loving and caring daughter, Dianne Dix (Joseph) and sons, James Allen Gray (Gladys), George Gray (Willadean), Edmond C. Gray, Pastor Joe B. Gray (Lola), Bishop Joe T. Gray (Debra), Harold Gray, Raymond Gray, Johnny Gray (Helen), and a sister whom she also loved dearly, Mattie White. She also nurtured, loved and reared four grandchildren, Larry Gray, (Pat), Tony Gray (Kisha), Bessie Vickers (Alonza), and Brendenna Gray Bowser. Also sharing her motherly love was Moses Lampkin, 72 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren. A devoted cousin Helen Foster; a devoted friend, Irince Allen and a host of relatives and friends.
