Services for Gerald Lee Brown, 39, of Hydro, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lockstone Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Robinson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Hydro, officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Creek cemetery near Gracemont.
Mr. Brown was born April 29, 1951 in Anadarko and died at the Southwestern Memorial Hospital in Weatherford. He grew up and attended schools in Gracemont, Lookeba and Hydro. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973 he returned home to Hydro and worked in construction and oil fields for a number of years. He became disabled in 1982 and was seriously ill the past year.
Survivors include his parents, L.G. and Kathleen Brown of Hydro; one son, Levi Brown; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Brown and Derral Lynn Brown; one sister, Pamela Kay John; and his grandmother, Sybil Shook.
