Mrs. Peter Zacek, 67, died Monday night at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Zacek was born 4 April 1905, at Creston, Neb. The former Violet Clark, she was married to Mr. Zacek 17 April 1923 at Columbus, Neb. The couple made their home at Lindsay, Neb. until 1939 when they moved to Sioux City. They moved to Niobara, Neb. in 1946. Mr. Zacek died in 1957 and Mrs. Zacek returned to Sioux City.
Survivors include 4 sons, Frank of Aurora, Colo.; Donald of
Denver, Colo.; and William and Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Frances) Lingle of McCook Lake, SD. and Mrs. Loren (Irene) Blackford of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Ida Moran of Des Moines; 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Berkemier Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Ofstedal of Riverside Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will be in L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery at Niobara, Neb.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Baker, Randy Blackford, Robert E. Lingle, Robert L. Lingle, Jim Moran and Harold Lias.Suggested edit: could you please add a notation son, James Alden b. 26 Nov. 1923 NE.
