BAER, RALPH Jr.

Mr. Baer, 54, of Glen Hope, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 1983, in Erie, following a boating accident in Lake Erie. Mr. Baer was self-employed as owner and operator of Baer's Tavern, Irvona. He was born Jan. 13, 1929, in Twin Rocks, the son of Ralph and Mary (Snow) Baer, and July 2, 1954, in Osceola Mills, married Joanne Gratton. Surviving are his wife, four children: Daniel of Glen Hope and Diana, Ronald and Denise, at home. Also surviving are his father of Glen Hope, a sister and two brothers: Mrs. Betty Caldwell of Glen Hope, Carl of Ramey and Robert of Gasport, N.Y., and a half-brother, George Snow. Mr. Baer was a member of the Madera VFW. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona.

BAER – Services for Ralph Baer Jr. of Glen Hope will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona, by the Rev. Edward L. Clarke. Interment in Bell Cemetery, Glen Hope. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home
