Eugene Finis Coffman, 83, formerly of Kansas City, KS, passed away December 12, 2008 in Hutchinson, KS. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Eugene was a WW II veteran serving in the Corps of Engineers and he retired in 1982 as a Mechanical Engineer for Certain Teed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Beverly Coffman (Prather). Survivors include his daughter Cathy Brumley of Shawnee, KS, his son Mark Coffman of Kansas City, KS. 2 Grandchildren, Elias and Zachary Coffman.
