Kerry is a Registered Nurse, Daughter of Conrad Noel Knudson and Anna Marie Knudson. She was born in Carrington N.D. and moved with her family to Rapid City, S.D., where she graduated from high school and Rapid City Regional School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse in Rapid City and Portland, Ore., before moving to Knoxville, Tenn. When the first open heart team was started in Tennessee she was a part of the founding team and participated in some of the first surgeries done there. She worked extensively with the elderly and home bound.
Kay as she was more commonly known loved animals and had many special pets in her lifetime, two of which (Amber and Puffers) reside with her now. She shared a birth date with her uncle Warren and they seldom missed celebrating together at least over the phone. Taken from us all to soon she is missed greatly by family and friends.
