Robert L. Blue, Sr., 87, of Chase City, died September 28, 2007. He was a retired cattle farmer, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Concord Baptist Church. He also served as a NASCAR pit crew member and assistant crew chief for a number of years. He was the widower of Laura Blue and was predeceased by a son, Leon Noel Blue. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Linda Blue of Buffalo Jct., Michael and Sharon Blue of Tappahannock, step daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Richard Wallace of Drakes Branch, brother, Henry Blue of Chase City, sisters, Geneva Barker and Mozelle Dalton of Danville, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
