Ernest Boyd Hose of Westampton died Wednesday Nov. 10, 2010, at his residence. He was 84.

Mr. Hose was born in Atlanta, Ga.

He was a retired sergeant first class in the U.S. Army. He served during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, retiring in 1966.

After his retirement from the Army, Mr. Hose was a cottage supervisor at the Johnstone Training Center in Bordentown, for 25 years.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; and a longtime member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Hainesport.

Mr. Hose is survived by his wife of 54 years, Soon-Ee Hose; his four children, Barbara Stubbs of Colorado Springs, Colo., Joseph Hose (Paul Novembre) of South Brunswick, and Anthony and Michael Hose, both of Westampton; three grandchildren, Christopher, Kellen and Charles; and a great-grandchild, Jayden. He also is survived by his good dog, "Raven."

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Marne Highway, Hainesport. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport. There will be no calling hours.
