"MRS. BEESON DIES
Wife of W. B. Beeson Succumbs Suddenly After Very Short Sickness Of Neuralgia of the Heart-Was Former Well-Known Taylor Township Woman.
Following a sickness of not more than an hour, of neuralgia of the heart, Mrs. Hannah C. Beeson, well known in both this city and county, died at her home, 524 North First street, at 7 o'clock Friday night. Mrs. Beeson's death was very sudden, and its unexpectedness came as a great shock to not only the family but the many friends and acquaintances.
Mrs. Beeson was in her usual health during Friday, but immediately following the attack of neuralgia her condition became critical.
Mr. and Mrs. Beeson and the family are very well known in Taylor township where they lived for many years before moving to this city sixteen years ago. They are among the older settlers of the county.
Mrs. Beeson's maiden name was Hannah C. Binford. She was born in Columbiana county, Ohio, Aug. 6, 1839. On Oct. 4, 1866, she became the wife of Wilson B. Beeson, the marriage taking place at Salem, O.
Very soon after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Beeson went west, came to Marshall county, and settled on a farm in Taylor township. They resided there for twenty-seven years, then retired from the farm and came to this city to live.
In addition to the husband Mrs. Beeson is survived by the following six children: Dr. O. L. Beeson, of Beatrice, Neb.; Mrs. Alice Warner, of Chicago; Dr. J. B. Beeson, of Livingston, Mont., and Mrs. George F. Wingert, of this city. Mrs. Beeson leaves one brother, Mr. Jesse Binford, of Liscomb township.
The daughters, Mrs. Martha and Mrs. Warner, reached the city this morning, but arrangements for the funeral will not be made until the sons living at distant points are heard from."
