The second child of Granville Nathan and Luvernia Dulin THORNTON, Lloyd was born at Watertown Twp. He attended Eureka School. 10 Nov 1922 he married Gladys Williams at Marietta, Ohio. The couple had lived in Marietta for a time, then at Frazeysburg, where their only child, Maxine Lillian Thornton was born. Lloyd was employed by Buckeye Pipeline Co. Later they moved to Zanesville where Lloyd worked for ARMCO for 25 years. At the time of his death, Lloyd was 66 years, 2 months and 12 days of age, and had 3 grandchildren.
