HERSCHEL MORRIS DIES AT HOME HERE

Herschel G. Morris, 45, of Lamar died at his home at 510 West Olive Street sometime last night or early this morning. Morris was found dead in bed this morning and the exact time of death could not be determined.

Since no physician was in attendance at the time of death the coroner made an examination and said Morris died of natural causes. The coroner did not list the exact cause of death.

Funeral services for Morris will be held from Kirkpatrick-Duggan Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. J. Graydon Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery.

At the time of his death Morris was employed as a salesman for Candy Service, Inc. of Colorado Springs. A native of Lamar, Morris had worked as a clerical helper at Sunday's Garage and was at one time city clerk.

Morris is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Morris of Lamar, one son, James D. of Lamar, one brother, Winslow of Lamar and four sisters, Mrs. Opal A. Brown of Ft. Lyon and Mrs. Mary D. Holtcamp, Mrs. Zoma T. Ellenberger and Mrs. Lola Crabill, all of Lamar.

Kirkpatrick-Duggan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
