Maude Artiemissie Christmas Young was the daughter of William W. Christmas and Susan Russell Christmas. She married James Daily Young on Christmas Eve in 1900. They had five children, Judith Angie(Jewell)Young Terry, Rheba Pearl Young Souminen, Charles Clyde Young, Etta Viola Young Thurber and Leland Ernest Young. She was a teacher like her husband and much loved by all who knew her.
