Her Funeral Was Held On Tuesday Afternoon; Burial At Wayne.
Mrs. John Henry Stahlberg passed away at her home last Saturday morning at 4:30 o'clock. She had been in failing health for three and a half years. She recently suffered a heart attack, which was the contributing cause of her death.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stahlberg were held last Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran church. The services were in charge of Rev. J. Willms, pastor of Zion's church. Mrs. Stahlberg's body was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Stahlberg was Anna Tobiason, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Tobiason. She was born in Wayne township, August 15, 1896.
She attended the rural schools of Wayne, and was married to J. H. Stahlberg, August 15, 1916. Two children were born to this union, Marvin, 16, and Elda, 11. In addition to her husband and children she is survived by two brothers, Hayo and Tobias Tobiason, and by two sisters, Mrs. John E. Folkerts and Mrs. Fred Helgens.
