Services for Evan Herman Barley, 69, were held at 10 a.m. today at Earthman North Chapel in Houston. Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at Berry Cemetery in Angelina County.
Mr. Barley of Houston died Saturday in a Houston hospital. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Kevan and Jeanne Barley; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Joel Butts; brothers, Max Truitt Barley, Carmon Barley and Robbie Barley; sisters, Mrs. Brooksie Boles, Mrs. Tess Russell and Mrs. Roxie Berry; grandchildren, Nathan Wesley, Joy Barley and Noelle Butts.
