Glennville-Elton McCord Anderson, 95, passed away Wednesday, June 25,2008 at the home of his daughter, Janis A. McCurdy.

He was born in Tattnall County on December 16, 1912 to the late Henry Hampton and Cassie Sullivan Anderson.

He graduated in 1932 as Valedictorian of Ways Station High School in Bryan County.

He attended Georgia Teachers College in Statesboro. He was president of the Supply Company from 1980-2005 and was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sue Nell Dreggors Anderson and son, Robert Elton Anderson.
Survivors: daughter, Janis Anderson McCurdy and son-in-law, Jimmy McCurdy of Glennville; grandson, Lee McCurdy and wife, Stephanie of Shellman Bluff; grand-daughter, Lisa McCurdy Barry and husband, Rob Barry of Glennville; six great-grandchildren: Turner, Mollie and Anderson McCurdy of Shellman Bluff; Blake, Cassie and Amanda Barry of Glennville. Other family relatives are Samarata Griffin, Racile and Barbara Dreggors, William and Novadean Dreggors, Elaine Dreggors, Larry Dreggors and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services wil be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Brother Robert Kicklighter officiating.
Burial wil follow in Pigott Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Mike Dreggors, Steve Dreggors, Daniel Dreggors, Mark Griffin, Glenn Purcell, Ronald (Bo) Davis.
