Last Saturday evening Mrs. Nora Hildebrand quietly passed to rest at the residence of John Banta in Jefferson Township, closing a consumptive illness of nearly a year. Her maiden name was Wirick, and she was born June 5, 1867 and died September 8, 1888, aged 21 years, three months and three days. At the tender age of 15 she wedded Albert Hildebrand. Two children were born to the twain. At the early age of 14 she united with the Christian Church only one of the many deeds attesting her purity refinement and practical Christianity. She was a natural lady, modest, inoffensive, pure, serene and dove like. She was a dutiful daughter, affectionate wife, kind mother and obliging neighbor. All through the trying ordeal of her protracted suffering, the charms of her sweet nature never deserted her. She leaves a tender infant, bereaved husband, mother and many relatives to mourn her departure. Interment at the Eastern Cemetery Carroll county, took place yesterday afternoon, Rev. Brown, of this city officiating.
