Services for Salvatore J. Iacuone, 70, of 207 Village Drive, who died Saturday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Mr. Iacuone was a native of Rome. He resided in California for more than 30 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart. For many years, he was employed as a letter carrier in the Los Angeles area. Surviving are a son, David of Syracuse; a daughter, Bonita Henneberg of Syracuse; a brother, Aldo of Syracuse; seven sisters, Doris Settineri of East Syracuse, Donna Lou Kreitzer of Yorktown Heights and Antoinette DeAngelo, Rose LaMontagne, Jean Massimiani, Elvira Petragnani and Norma Safin, all of Syracuse; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Pirro & Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
