Born as Elizabeth Kloepfer, loving daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Kloepfer (nee Phillips). She had her Reception on June 12, 1928, professed into sisterhood on August 19, 1930, and took her final vows August 19, 1936. She was a devoted nun for 67 years with the School Sisters of Saint Francis.

Sister Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was the dear sister of Mary (William) Schwall, Michael (Gerda), Lillian (Max) Paull, Peter (Julia), Frank, Rose (Jacob) Trom, David (Edna), Agnes (Edward) Martell, Cecilia (James) Mieno, and Lawrence (Gertrude).
