Daughter of the late Conrad and Ruth Philhower. In 1876, she married Mr. King, whose death occurred 48 years ago. Up to 22 years ago, she resided at Cherryville. She was a life-long member of the Cherryville Baptist Church and was also a member of Class No. 8 and the Ladies Progressive Society of the Milford Christian Church.
She was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Austin A. Clickenger, of Milford, and Mrs. Eva Simerson of Lambertville; two granddaughters, Mrs. Ralph E. Hamilton, of Jersey City, and Mrs. Roy Cox of Scotch Plains, one grandson, George A. Clickenger, of Milford and one great-grandson, Bobby Clickenger of Milford.
Her obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat, April 1, 1937.
