ADAMS.--Mrs. Caroline Adams, widow of the late Rev. Moses Adams, of the Wyoming Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, died at her granddaughter, Mrs. Lulu Foster Lange, Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, February 2, 1893. Since the death of her husband, about twenty years ago Sister Adams has been a member of the Hemenway Church at Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, where she was greatly beloved. Her home here was with her son, Judge John Ballard Adams; but a few weeks ago she went to her granddaughter's where she died. About Christmas time she suffered an attack of "the grippe" which resulted in heart failure and exhaustion. Sister Adams was about eighty-three years of age, having traveled with her itinerant husband more than forty years. Hers was a saintly character and she was ready for her translation. At her request she was laid to rest at Racine, Racine , Wisconsin. Many of those who still linger on the shores of time within the Wyoming Conference will recall with gratitude her helpful and devoted life.
