"Elsie I. Houle"
Miss Elsie I. Houle, 62, died at a local hospital Monday morning following an illness of about eight months. The body was taken from Hahn's to St. Joseph's church on Thursday morning for the funeral rites conducted by the Rev. A. J. Koeferl at 9:00.
Interment was in St. Josephs' cemetery. Sylvan Baudhuin, Bernard May, Ralph Propsom, Pat Watters, Harold Conlon and Ell Chaudoir were pallbearers.
Those who came from outside to attend the funeral were John Houle, Green Bay; Mrs. Josephine Sampson and her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sampson, Kenosha; Mrs. R. J. Halvorsen and son Morrie and Mrs. Norman Allie, Two Rivers; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Redfield and son Jarry, Stevens Point; Mrs. Thos. Halstead, New Franken, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Seymour, West DePere.
Miss Houle was born here March 19, 1885, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Houle Sr. She had been a saleslady in the ready-to-wear department of the H. C. Prange Co. store here for the past 15 years.
Surviving Miss Houle are three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Sampson of Kenosha and Mrs. Edw. Franklin and Miss Emily Houle of this city, and three brothers, John Jr. of Green Bay, Will of Milwaukee and Ed of this city."
