CODY SHINN SERVICES HELD SUNDAY

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Cody L. SHINN, who died at the Routt County Memorial Hospital Friday afternoon, June 25, following a lengthy illness.

Cody who was well known here, came to Steamboat Springs May 1924.from Illinois. He was the night policeman here for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Lillian; five sons, Robert of Walla Walla, Washington; Ody and Leroy of Whittier, California; Joe of River Ridge, Michigan; Hugh, Moses, Washington; one daughter, Margaret LUARK of Steamboat Springs and a sister, Mrs. Lillian FULLER, Lake Tahoe, California.

Officiating at the mortuary service was Rev. Norman A. Grantham. George Rhoades sang “Good Night Down Here” and “In the Garden” accompanied by Maxine Ohman.

Pallbearers were Willard SHERROD, Leroy NEFZGER, Alex CHURA, Paul NELSON, Chet COOPER and Mark KNOWLES.

Burial was in the Steamboat Springs Cemetery with the Root Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
