Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Jared, a resident of Baxter, Rt. 1, were held Monday at 2:00 in the chapel
of Baxter Funeral Home with burial in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Joe Elledge officiated.
Mrs. Jared died Saturday at her home in Baxter Rt. 1 following an extended illness.
She was a native of Putnam County, daughter of Pink and Lethia Grogan Dawes.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jared is survived by a brother, Byrd Dawes of Buffalo Valley, Rt., 1, and several nieces and nephews.
