Peggy Lynn Koch, 46, Mandan, died on June 13, 2004, in a Rochester, MN, hospital. Peggy was born on February 25, 1958, in Manitowoc, Wis., the daughter of Clement and Marian (Reindl) Doolan. She grew up in Branch, Wis., the fifth of seven children (five girls and two boys). Her parents owned a supper club for thirty years in Francis Creek, Wis., at which Peggy worked there from age 10 until she was 19.

Peggy's upbringing was Catholic. She attended a Catholic elementary school in Francis Creek, Wis. She graduated from Mishicot High School and there she fell in love with her high-school sweetheart, David Koch. They got married in 1977, just one year after their high school graduation. She had her first child, Dustin, in Wisconsin and shortly after moved to Timberlake, SD, in 1979 where she had her other two children, Adrienne and Ezra.

In 1991, she and her family moved to Mandan. In 1998, Peggy went back to school while working and raising her family. She was very proud to graduate from BSC in May 2002 with an Associates of Business Management. Peggy was currently working for Starion Financial as a bookkeeper. Her hobbies were golfing, gardening, walking, quilting, arts and crafts. She was a very caring, gentle, strong, artistic, creative and a great cook!

She is survived by her husband, David, of 26 years, Mandan; two sons, Dustin (Froey), Mpls, MN, and Ezra (Ezriah) Mandan; one daughter, Adrienne (Ageen), Mandan; four sisters, Sandra (Ron) Abramson, Austin, Texas, Cathy Metz, Denmark, Wis, Jackie (Mike) O'Connor, DePere, Wis, and Jenny (Randy) Orth, Two Rivers, Wis; two brothers, Steven (Sue) Doolan, Francis Creek, Wis, and David (Sally) Doolan, Branch, Wis; and numerous nices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Mandan with Fr. Al Leary officiating. Burial will be in the Mandan Union Cemetery.
