Born June 14 1934 at Swords Creek Virginia he was a son of the late Andy and Ethel Stiltner Gross.
Preceding him in death other than his parents were three sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife--Frances Stella Shortt Gross of Richlands Virginia.
One son--Elden Gross and wife Gretta Darlene Hopson Gross of Cedar Bluff Virginia.
One daughter--Zelda Gross Silcox and husband Johnny of Abingdon Virginia.
Two grandsons--James Donald Gross and Eric Silcox and wife Rachel.
Friends may call between six and nine Friday.
Funeral services will be at eleven Saturday at the Singleton Funeral Home Cedar Bluff Virginia.
Burial will be in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill Virginia.
