Louvenia Viola Wallace, daughter of Edward Washington Wallace and Elizabeth Adaline Wallace was born 22 Sept 1874 in Plain Dealing, Bossier Par, LA.

She married William Hiram Allen, son of Joseph J. Allen, Sr and Sarah Jean Teague, on 24 Aug. 1894 in Plain Dealing, Bossier Par, LA.

They had two children:
1. Sarah Elizabeth "Lela" Allen, born 29 Nov. 1896 in Bradley, Lafayette Co, Ark., and
2. Mary Magdalene "Maggie" Allen, born 21 May 1899 in Arkadelphia, Clark Co, Ark.

After Louvenia died in 1900, the daughters were raised by Louvenia's parents. William married at least 3 more times; Maggie Stubbs ca 1901, Blanche Hope ca 1909, Emma ca 1918.
