Charlie David Maynor, 69 of Stevenson, AL, died August 29, 2009 at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 29, 1940 in Carnes, Alabama. Charlie owned and operated the Airport Grocery for many years.
Mr. Maynor was preceded in death by his parents Loomis Orville and Ruthie Ruby Sanders Maynor; siblings Jessie Maynor, Clyde Maynor, James Maynor and Anna Ruth Maynor.
Visitation will be Saturday 6-9 PM CDT and Sunday 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL.
Funeral will be Monday, August 31, at 11 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Mayburn Guess and Rev. John Gamble.
Burial followed at Inglis Cemetery in Fackler, AL.
