Ricky was the son of John Thomas Anderton and Gladys Mae Morphew Anderton. He attended school at Lamar County Elementary and Dallas School. He was a dock worker for Goodwill Industries for 26 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved watching TV, Walker Texas Ranger especially. He also enjoyed riding bikes, fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by brothers Ronnie and Michael Anderton; nephews, John and Ronnie Anderton; niece, Heather Anderton; uncle, Lloyd Morphew; cousin, Joe Anderton along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Anderton. Memorial services will be held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Bros. John Howard and Arvel Hall will officiate.
