CHILD SUCCOMBS TO THE
RAVAGES OF TYPHOID

Sarah M.,the little daughter of Mr.& Mrs.Elmer Hoover,of 302 North Main Street,West End [Punxsutawney],succumbed yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock to an attack of typhoid fever from which she had been suffering the past four weeks.
The child,who was eleven years,nine months and seven days
of age when death claimed her,was a particularly bright and lovable child.A student in the West End School,she was exceptionally bright and was highly regarded by her teacher and school mates.Her death has caused them much sorrow.
She is survived by her parents,three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.Burial will be made in the Oliveburg cemetery and Rev. W.C. Spayde will officiate.
