She was born Jan. 23, 1945, to Ferdinand and Alice DeMontigny in Belcourt. She married Bernard Thomas in 1964 in Belcourt, and they later divorced.
Survivors: daughters, Vanessa Eller, Alice Peltier and Lynette Thomas, all Belcourt; sons, Bernard Thomas, Keneth Thomas and Dennis Thomas, all Belcourt, Steve Thomas of Pisek, John DeCoteau, Minot; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Rachel Dionne, Margerette DeCoteau and Kerri Davis; brothers, Patrick, Franklin, Gerald, Ferdinand, Edward, Robert and Dennis.
Funeral: Friday, 10 a.m., St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt.
