Mr. Edward H. Gill, 39. of Box 67. Duncansville, RD 2, died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 1986, In Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring. He was employed as a tubing saw operator at Small Tube Products Inc., Duncansville. He was born June 7, 1947. in Altoona, the son of Henry and Winifred (Walters) Gill, and June 4. 1966, in Dry Run. married Virginia R. Brumbaugh.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters: Laura and Julie, at home. Also surviving are his mother of Duncansville RD and five sisters: Virginia Price and Edith of Duncansville RD. Carol Ruggles of Roaring Spring, Ruth Blair of State College and Linda White in North Carolina.

Mr. Gill was a member of the Altoona Bible Church. He was a Vietnam veteran.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home. Duncansville.

GILL — Services for Edward H. Gill of Duncansville RD 2 will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, by the Rev. John Spooner. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. today in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville.

ROARING SPRING Cyclist has fatal attack

A Duncansville-area man died of a heart attack while riding his motorcycle along Route 36, near the New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. in Taylor Township, at 4:45 p.m. Thursday. Edward H. Gill. 39, of Box 67, Duncansville RD 2, was taken by Friendship ambulance to Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, where he was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. by Blair County Deputy Coroner Jeffrey A. Guyer said an autopsy performed at Mercy Hospital showed ill suffered a heart attack and did not die as a result of injuries suffered when his motorcycle wrecked. State police said Gill was riding his 1980 Kawasaki motorcycle north when it went onto the west berm and crashed Into an embankment. Gill was thrown to the berm and suffered a minor cut of the left leg.
