Irvin and Winifred lived in Ohio in the Portage Lakes area. He had a riding lawn tractor and would mow over anything in the yard EXCEPT the rose bushes. He absolutely loved them and would have the most beautiful blooms.
Grandpa loved to fish and we would have huge family gatherings. He was a quiet man who didn't need a lot of words. I remember one time when my dad was coaching Little League, the umpire threatened to throw out our entire family from the ball park. Grandpa looked seriously at the man and commenced to tell him that he better get a Greyhound bus!

A huge THANK YOU to Billie for sponsoring my Grandpa's memorial! Her kindness and generosity will not soon be forgotten.
